Financial Planning and Fundraising
Linkubator assists companies in developing a simple high-level business plan which will incorporate the external and internal environmental analysis, the business model and will highlight the funding/resource gaps between the company’s goals and their current resources. These gaps will be presented in the form of financial projections and will be the basis of any pitch for funding/resources from a third party.
Linkubator will advise the client on the available sources of funding and also on the best strategy to secure those resources. Typically this will centre on four main targets:
1. Existing shareholders / directors;
2. The banks;
3. Venture Capital / Angel investment;
4. Government support bodies;
Each of these sources of funding clearly has advantages and disadvantages and these will be fully considered and explained.
Linkubator will also assess and advise on the potential for the company to leverage its funding. That is, putting together a package of funding that can consist of two or more of the already mentioned sources where the decision of each individual source of funding is influenced positively, or even depends entirely upon, the other sources becoming involved.
